What You'll Do

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the OR, PACU, and Endoscopy.
• Assist with C-sections and respond to emergency or trauma cases as needed.
• Participate in patient assessments, preparation, and post-op recovery.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain sterile techniques and safety protocols throughout procedures.
• Support float responsibilities to other departments based on census needs.
• Be on call once weekly and every 5th weekend, arriving within 30 minutes when required.

What You Need

• Required:
  • Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
  • 1+ year of OR nursing experience
  • Epic EMR experience
  • Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Preferred:
  • Experience in rural hospital settings
  • Ability to adapt to emergency team assignments
  • Strong communication skills
