  • Conduct thorough client assessments to determine mental health status and specific treatment needs.

  • Engage in regular therapy sessions with clients, providing them with coping strategies and tools to navigate their challenges effectively.

  • Monitor client progress consistently and adapt therapeutic interventions based on evolving client needs and feedback.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and treatment plans in electronic health record systems.

  • Educate clients about mental health resources and self-care methods to promote independence and resilience.

  • Participate in team meetings and provide input regarding continuous quality improvement in therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this impactful role, you will work with a diverse array of clients facing various mental health challenges. Your patient population may include children, adolescents, adults, and families, all seeking support for issues such as trauma, relationship problems, and psychological disorders. The emphasis on cultural competence in therapy means you will need to tailor your approach to meet the individual needs of each client, recognizing and respecting their unique backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • \n
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
  • \n
  • Minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience, with a focus on mental health therapy.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment methods.
  • \n
  • Experience providing both individual and group therapy with an emphasis on inclusive approaches.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience working with a variety of clinical populations, including those with complex comorbidities.

  • Skilled in using electronic health record (EHR) management systems effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
