Job Title:  Packaging Machine Operator

Shift / Hours: 1st shift, Monday-Thursday from 6am-4pm

Location: Selma, Tx

Hourly Range: $20+ (DOE)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented  Die Press Machine Operator to operate die press machinery used to cut, form, shape, or stamp materials according to production specifications. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate machinery in a fast-paced production environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Operate die press machines safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
• Set up and adjust machinery, dies, tooling, and materials as needed for production.
• Load and position raw materials into the machine accurately.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure products meet quality and production standards.
• Inspect finished products for proper dimensions, appearance, and defects.
• Make basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor operating issues.
• Follow work orders, blueprints, drawings, and production specifications.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate machine issues, quality concerns, and production delays to the supervisor.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience operating a  die press, stamping press, punch press, or similar manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Manufacturing or production experience required.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, measurements, and basic drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, rulers, or gauges.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
