Quality Assurance Technician (Overnight shift)

Position Summary As a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll help ensure our products meet the highest standards for safety, consistency, and compliance. You’ll work directly on the production floor, reviewing documentation, performing inspections, and supporting teams with quality guidance. Shift/Schedule This role operates on the 3rd shift, Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM. Onboarding Schedule New employees complete a 4–5 day onboarding program, typically scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, during their first week. Responsibilities Perform in-process testing and AQL inspections Submit samples for analytical and microbiological testing Review batch documentation and production logbooks for accuracy Approve pre-startup activities and equipment checks Release batch records and work orders Conduct daily audits and floor walks to ensure compliance Support teams with GMP, SOP, and documentation guidance Participate in shift review meetings Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies Perform other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or GED required 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance preferred Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens Flexible to work overtime based on business needs Skills Proficiency with computers, tablets, and basic software (Outlook, Excel, Word) Experience with systems such as SAP, Oracle, AS400, PQM, or Captiva preferred Strong attention to detail and organization Basic math skills Understanding of quality systems and manufacturing equipment Ability to read, write, and understand English Team-oriented and dependable Pay and Benefits The approximate hourly pay for this position is $24.48. (This includes a $3.00/hour shift differential).
