Job Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients utilizing both standardized tools and observational methods. Create customized treatment strategies that cater to immediate objectives as well as long-term communication and swallowing aspirations. Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions aimed at enhancing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing abilities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, caregivers, and family members to ensure coordinated care. Provide educational resources to patients and their families, empowering them to support progress beyond our sessions. Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, assuring consistent care throughout the patient journey. Keep precise and timely records in compliance with all regulatory standards. Participate in ongoing education and peer-sharing opportunities to stay at the forefront of speech pathology advancements. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for those not yet holding ASHA certification. Certifications Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist . Preferably, a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment. Skills Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic approaches appropriate for patients across all age groups, with keen insight into developmental and acquired speech and swallowing disorders. Exceptional communication skills that foster positive interactions with families and a variety of healthcare professionals. Versatility in adapting therapy techniques to accommodate the diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds of patients. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
