About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required License: Current RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 1 year of cath lab experience required Prior travel experience is highly preferred Description: The Cath Lab operates with 3 rooms and requires 2 RN per team. RNs are responsible for circulating, prepping, and placing IVs if needed. They will circulate and sedate patients, addressing all patient needs. Rad tech may scrub and assist the physician. Documentation is performed in an electronic medical record system. Case load averages 13 cases per day with various cardiac interventions. On-call coverage is required, including nights and weekends, approximately every 3rd night. The dress code includes light blue scrubs, while shoes and shoe covers are provided. This position requires a commitment to providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.
