Sales Support Specialist

A great UHY client is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to provide administrative and operational support to the sales team and office staff. This role will serve as a key point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal team members while helping ensure quotes, purchase orders, job tickets, and other administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently. The Sales Support Specialist role is an onsite, permanent position based in Paw Paw, MI, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Provide administrative support to sales representatives, including typing and proofreading quotes for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and professional presentation Receive purchase orders, match them with corresponding quotes, and distribute information to the appropriate sales representatives Work closely with sales representatives to prepare job tickets and work orders and ensure accurate information is communicated to the appropriate teams Track daily employee time and post hours to corresponding job tickets Enter and maintain accurate information within the company's Foundation accounting system Manage office supply inventory and place orders using a company-issued credit card Provide backup support to the Accounting Clerk and assist with basic bookkeeping activities as needed Cross-train with other office staff to provide coverage and administrative support when needed Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming phone calls Greet and assist visitors to the office in a professional and welcoming manner Maintain organized and accurate administrative records and support general office operations Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office environment Outgoing, personable, and professional communication style Confident personality with the ability to communicate assertively and effectively with sales representatives, customers, and internal staff Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a small team General bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred Experience with an accounting or ERP system preferred; Foundation experience is a plus High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is not required Practical experience, sound judgment, common sense, and a willingness to learn are highly valued ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group provides clients with accomplished professionals to support finance, accounting, internal audit and tax teams.
