Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to help patients develop or regain the skills needed for daily living. The successful candidate will implement occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Position Details Location: North Adams, Massachusetts Employment Type: Permanent Pay Rate: $40 per hour Responsibilities Implement treatment activities based on the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care. Assist patients with daily living activities and therapeutic exercises. Help patients improve coordination, functional movement, and independence. Monitor patient performance and report progress or concerns to the supervising therapist. Document treatment sessions and patient responses. Educate patients and caregivers on recommended techniques and adaptive equipment. Work with the rehabilitation team to support patient outcomes. Requirements Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Active Occupational Therapy Assistant license. Applicable certification, as required.
