Supervisory Social Worker

Summary The Social Work Supervisor manages the administrative and clinical aspects of Service - supervising Social Workers (most at the GS-12 Social Work Level) - Nurses and others of various disciplines including Program Coordinators over different programs. Supervised work will be carried out throughout the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System (GCVHCS) which extends from Biloxi Mississippi - through Mobile - Alabama - Fort Walton Beach - Pensacola - and Panama City - Florida. Qualifications Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. • Providing clinical supervision to social workers and other consultations to VA medical facility staff on Social Work practice issues
