JOB SUMMARY

Primary Responsibilities: Works alongside mechanical engineers to create and modify part and assembly models in 2D and 3D and generate and modify 2D drawings based on these models. Maintain structured bills of material and parts lists for assemblies. Reviews drawings for layout, completeness, accuracy, constructability, and adherence to internal design/drafting standards. Contribute to the improvement and maintenance of internal design/drafting standards. Ensures that designs are consistent with internal standards, project technical requirements and scope. Checks assigned drawings supplied by vendors, clients and other discipline groups throughout the project to ensure quality designs. Ensures quality, quantity, and completeness of the assigned design tasks.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in mechanical design. Associates degree or higher in Drafting & Design Technology, Engineering Graphics or Engineering Technology preferred Well organized with ability to schedule own workload. Ability to comprehend, understand design concepts for large industrial equipment for pharmaceutical and like applications. As key member of Project Team may be required to interact with customers and various internal/external personnel. Acts with integrity in all elements of responsibility. Consistently observe and promote Safety Health Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) site requirements.

SALARY RANGE

$65,000-75,000 Bonus
