Position Summary

The RN/LPN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit. This leadership role ensures the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care while supervising nursing staff, coordinating interdisciplinary services, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of an assigned nursing unit

• Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff

• Ensure high-quality resident care and positive clinical outcomes

• Complete resident assessments and coordinate care planning

• Monitor physician orders and ensure timely implementation

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team

• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

• Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and company regulations

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection prevention efforts

• Respond to resident concerns and assist in resolving clinical issues

• Promote a positive, team-oriented culture

Qualifications

• Current Missouri RN or LPN license in good standing

• CPR/BLS Certification

• Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care experience preferred

• Previous leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Passion for providing exceptional resident-centered care
