Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Medicine Nurse-Allied

Position Overview Join a stable 50-year-old private practice whose goal is to provide the best service possible to patients, their families, and fellow providers. The practice emphasizes patient-centered care and provider collaboration with opportunities in both hospital and free-standing emergency department settings. Schedule & Experience Schedule is mostly 9- or 10-hour shifts, with occasional 12-hour shifts. The role includes 11-13 shifts per month with no on-call requirement. Weekend and some holiday coverage is required. Responsibilities Provide emergency medicine care with competencies in laceration repairs, incision & drainage, foreign-body removal, and full eye examination. Responsibilities also include collaborative physician oversight and thorough onboarding and orientation support. Volume Expected volume is 1.5-2 patients per hour. Systems & Support EMR system: Epic with PACS, Dragon dictation, and AI scribe. Physician coverage model is 70% physician/30% APC. Scribe and support staff include an AI scribe, unit secretary (HUC), and tech (splints/IV). Specialty backup is available from hospitals (general surgery, most surgical specialists, anesthesia, obstetrics/gynecology, and some interventional radiology). Compensation & Benefits Guaranteed $85.00 per hour, with bonus up to $95.00 per hour and a nighttime shift differential.
