Infusion Referral Coordination Specialist

To support a growing healthcare practice, the remote Infusion Referral Coordination Specialist will manage incoming infusion orders, coordinate referrals, and ensure accurate medication order entry while working in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities Review incoming faxes and new infusion orders, ensuring accurate workflow and prompt processing Create and maintain patient profiles, including demographic, insurance, and referral information Conduct benefits verification and support prior authorizations for new and existing infusion patients Required qualifications Associate degree or higher in Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, or related field Prior hands-on experience in Pharmacy Technician or infusion pharmacy roles Direct experience with infusion referral coordination and order entry Experience with prior authorization processes and commercial payer policies Five or more years of relevant infusion experience strongly preferred
