Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Proven experience working with students exhibiting severe behavioral needs, especially in elementary grades
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification or willingness to obtain it
• Strong classroom management abilities and the capacity to implement individualized behavior plans
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and related service providers
• Flexibility, patience, and a passion for meeting each child’s unique learning and behavioral needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support to a group of four students in grades 1–3
• Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in partnership with other staff and families
• Develop proactive behavior interventions and track student progress closely
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic student support
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment focused on growth and empowerment
