Contract - CT Tech - Cat Scan - 13 Weeks - 7:00A-7:00P General experience required in a similar role. No call is required. The purpose of this unit profile is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the unit. This includes information such as the number of beds, staff ratios, and other essential details. Unit Information: Imaging Services. Main Building, 1st Floor. The discipline is Radiology. General Information: Number of Beds: 100+ Imaging techs and IR nurses are available. Type of Staff: Day Shift: 1 lead and 4+ techs working per shift, depending on the modality. Night Shift: 3 techs on in CT/RAD, 1 tech in US/MR. Patient Ratios: High acuity patients are prevalent in this environment. Type of Equipment: Primarily GE technology is used. Permanent Positions on Unit: Yes Typical Hiring Profile: Skill Set Most Recruited For: Travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters. Candidates must have: BLS, ARRT, TMB, RDMS, NMTCB. Preferred or Nice to Have: Licensure in the modality they are applying for (e.g., NMTCB, MRI, CT, ACLS, RDMS). Typical Procedures Performed in Unit: A wide range of procedures, including trauma and stroke care. Experience in a fast-paced environment is essential. Candidates should be comfortable working with seriously ill patients. Best Personality Fit: Strong scanning skills are necessary. Candidates should exhibit a calm and professional demeanor. A great team player attitude is essential. Flexible candidates are preferred and should maintain a positive attitude. Dress Code: Scrub Color: Olive tops with black pants. Unit Guidelines/Policies: Applicants are encouraged to understand the unit's policies and guidelines. Any Additional Information: The unit is equipped with new technology.
