IT Audit, Manager

Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking an IT Audit, Manager to join their team.As an IT Audit Manager, you will play a critical role in assessing and mitigating risks within our organization's IT environment. You will lead audit teams, identify control weaknesses, and recommend improvements to enhance the effectiveness of IT controls. Your strong technical skills, analytical mindset, and communication abilities will be essential to ensuring the integrity and security of our IT systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans, including risk assessments, control testing, and reporting.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize IT risks, including operational, security, and compliance risks.
• Design and perform effective control tests to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports that communicate findings, recommendations, and management action plans.
• Build strong relationships with business partners and senior management to foster collaboration and address audit issues.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support.
• Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and standards, such as SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant IT audit experience.
• Strong understanding of IT audit methodologies and frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001).
• Experience in IT general controls, application controls, and infrastructure controls.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CISSP preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
