As a Preschool Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in assisting with instructional activities, managing students with care and respect, and ensuring a safe and engaging classroom experience. Daily Responsibilities: Assist with small group instruction and classroom activities Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and behavior Implement differentiated instruction and instructional strategies Conduct parent conferences to discuss student development and goals Support the lead teacher in implementing curriculum and lesson planning Required Skills: High school diploma; college-level coursework in education or related field Experience in early childhood education or a related field Ability to manage classroom behavior and support students with disabilities Strong communication skills, both oral and written Understanding of Common Core State Standards Knowledge of child growth and development, appropriate classroom practices, and demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities Meets all mandated health requirements (e.g., a negative tuberculosis test, etc.) Appointment may require successful completion of communicable disease, child abuse, CPR, first aid, and /or behavioral management training. Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver, or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment Company Information: We believe that every child deserves a safe and stimulating environment to learn and grow.
