The Health Screener administers temperature checks and health-related questionnaires to all employees and visitors to help maintain a safe and healthy environment. The role contributes to the smooth day-to-day operations of the screening area by providing courteous and efficient service.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet all visitors, patients, and employees entering the facility in a professional and welcoming mannerConduct temperature checks and administer health screening questionnaires accurately and efficientlyEnsure compliance with facility health and safety protocolsProvide assistance and information as needed to visitors and staffMaintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines regarding health informationReport any irregularities or concerns to the MHS Manager or Team Lead promptlyMaintain a clean and organized screening station and work environmentPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsQualifications and RequirementsHigh School Diploma/GED or equivalent experienceMust be able to work legally in the United StatesMust pass background and drug screeningsAble to speak, read, and write English fluentlyRequired to meet immunization or health screening requirementsDemonstrated professionalism with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsPassion for customer service and attention to detailPhysical RequirementsRegularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, talk, see, and hearMust be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionallyMust be able to push and pull (e.g., wheelchairs) between 100 to 350 pounds, frequently over considerable distancesAbility to work flexible schedules and extended hours as needed
