\n Position Summary\nThe facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join a dedicated and collaborative behavioral health team in Shelton, CT .
\nThis full-time, permanent opportunity offers a collegial practice environment with a strong emphasis on integrated care, clinical support, and work-life balance. Physicians will provide diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic oversights.

\n Essential Position Responsibilities\n- \n

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and formulate individualized treatment plans.
\n - \n
Provide ongoing medication management and supportive psychotherapy.
\n - \n
Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, nurses, and primary care providers to ensure continuity of care.
\n - \n
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
\n - \n
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
\n - \n
Promote preventive mental health strategies and community wellness efforts.
\n

Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
\n - \n
Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
\n - \n
Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates and residents are welcome to apply.

Highly competitive salary commensurate with experience.
