Job Title: RN Float Pool Med Surg Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med Surg / Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ Years License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have Skills/Experience: Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field. Ability to act as Charge RN if one is unavailable. Description: The position involves providing care in a float pool that extends to various medical-surgical units. Registered Nurses will care for post-cardiac surgery, cardiac, and general medical patients. Must be willing to float as needed; this is non-negotiable. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:5. Equipment used includes EMR for documentation. The work environment emphasizes a patient-focused approach and teamwork. Scrub color is black. Candidates should be a patient-focused team player.
