Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Lawrenceville, GA.  This is a 13+ weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Job Details: 
Schedule:  Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
Location:  Lawrenceville, GA 30046
Job Type: Local contract 
Contract Length: 13+ weeks
Pay Range: $21 to $23/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  

Duties: 

• Perform high-quality venipuncture and blood specimen collection following established procedures
• Perform pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood collections
• Collect and process clinical and forensic specimens accurately and safely
• Verify patient demographic information and required documentation
• Obtain patient signatures and verify specimen information following venipuncture
• Ensure specimen tubes are correctly labeled in the patient's presence
• Prepare and process specimens according to established laboratory procedures
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation
• Explain collection procedures clearly to patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence

Requirements: 

• Education:  High School Diploma or GED required.
• Years of experience:  Minimum 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED
• Skills/Specialties/Technology:   Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections .
