Job Title: Controls Systems Engineer Job Description

This is a full-time, traveling position where you will be working on various projects for 3-6 months at each location. You will play a critical role in executing automation commissioning and validation protocols, and work closely with internal engineers and clients to deliver state-of-the-art control systems aimed at improving efficiency, product quality, and profitability in process manufacturing.

• Execute automation commissioning and validation protocols.
• Troubleshoot and remediate commissioning and validation non-conformances.
• Collaborate with internal engineers and clients in a team environment.
• Define and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) configurations.
• Conduct testing and on-site commissioning and qualification of control systems.

• Proficiency in PLC programming.
• Experience with building automation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.

• Engineering degree in mechanical, systems, automation, or electrical engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Flexible schedule and adaptability.
• Enthusiasm for learning and professional growth.
• Scissor Lift Certification.

This role involves significant travel, offering exposure to different industries. The workweek may consist of either six 10-hour days or five 10-hour days, depending on the project requirements. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including boots, gloves (A5 or above), and safety glasses. The preference is to use our company vest and hardhat. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dalton, GA.

The pay range for this position is $39.00 - $50.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Dalton,GA.
