Machine Learning Scientist (L4) - Content & Conversation Modeling

Job Overview The Content & Conversation Modeling team delivers high-leverage ML solutions using Netflix’s unique media data, driving decisions across content strategy, acquisition, scheduling, and advertising. The role is to develop, optimize, and deploy scalable ML solutions that power content decisions. Responsibilities Innovate predictive models to inform content strategy. Thought partner with content strategy teams on content valuation, scheduling, and performance. Partner with analytics teams applying models globally. Own end-to-end ML model lifecycle. Inform and influence data and ML infrastructure development. Live Netflix values while bringing new perspective to improve culture. Qualifications Ability to navigate ambiguous problem spaces. Exceptional communication skills to explain complex concepts. Deep familiarity with ML lifecycle and strong technical judgment. Passion for scaling ML solutions collaboratively. Strong experience in Python and ML/DL frameworks. Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in CS, Economics, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field with focus on ML and predictive modeling. Relevant experience in one or more machine learning roles. Appreciation of the creative and entertainment industry (plus). Compensation The compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; no bonuses. Salary range $300,000.00 - $537,000.00.
