Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find an experienced Maintenance Technician in Denton TX. In this skilled role, you will be responsible for performing electrical troubleshooting and repairs on equipment/machinery. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below. 

In a Maintenance Technician role you’ll be responsible for: 

• Maintain electrical systems for a variety of purposes including lighting, climate control, security, A.C and D.C motors, controls, PLC and distribution panels

• Completing appropriate maintenance records, transferring knowledge of conditions to incoming mechanics at shift change, and informing the supervisor of significant problems

• Reads blueprints, diagrams and machinery manuals

• Repair engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments 

What you’ll need:

• Minimum 4-years’ experience in the field of machinery maintenance is required.

• Ability to handle physical requirements, including but not limited to, kneeling, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting of up to 80 lbs.

• Electrical training/experience with 480 3 phases/machine controls

• Computer skills
