As one of the nation's largest nonprofit Catholic healthcare organizations, CommonSpirit Health delivers more than 20 million patient encounters annually through more than 2,300 clinics, care sites and 158 hospital-based locations, in addition to its home-based services and virtual care offerings.As our Radiologic Mammography Technologist with Dignity Health Medical Foundation, now part of CommonSpirit Health, you will perform mammographic imaging procedures in our outpatient clinics.Every day you will assist in preparing patients for Radiologic/Mammography examinations and relay instructions from the radiologist, help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions, and collect patient data, documenting patient concerns, patient messages, and care provided in the patient's medical record for the Radiologist's review. You will also troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures. You may be required to occasionally work at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed.To be successful in this role, you will need enthusiasm to help others and a desire to have a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.To learn more and begin your journey click here.Job RequirementsRequired:High School diploma or equivalent.Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic programMust be licensed by the State of California in CRT & MammographyCandidates in the process of obtaining CA licensure may be considered, however CA license must be verified prior to start date.Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA BLS)Excellent interpersonal organizational and customer service skills are essentialDemonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging proper operation of and care of radiology diagnostic equipment and radiation safety is requiredPreferred:At least one (1) year experience as a Radiologic/Mammography TechnologistSix (6) months experience in an outpatient environmentCertification in Mammography through ARRTMedical terminology and familiarity with an electronic practice management system and PACS
