Growing together.Position Highlights:Complete Medicare yearly wellness exams for seniors and provide limited primary careClinic hours and locations are variable: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm vs. 8am-5pmOpportunity to work with an elite team of APC specialistsWhat makes an Optum organization different?Practice at the peak of their licenseWe recognize that if you want to provide good care and do it well, you can't do it alone - this is the foundation of the team-based care modelThe culture is one of clinical innovation and transformationWe are influencing change on a national scale while still maintaining the culture and community of our local organizationsClinician Responsibilities:Provides diagnosis, treatment, therapy, and management of patients according to current standards of care utilizing best practices recommendationIn-Home & Clinic annual wellness patient visits are requiredUtilizes evidence-based care processes for cost-effective and efficient use of lab, radiology, and extended service providersCollaborates with the patient's primary care providerProvide guidance to nursing personnel on treatment plans and care coordinationMaintains knowledge of STAR, HEDIS, and medical coding and diagnosis requirementsRequired Qualifications:Current NP/ PA license in the state of Nevada or ability to obtainCurrent DEA certificate or ability to obtainBoard Certified or in the process of obtaining certificationGreater than 1 year of experience as an NP/PAUnderstanding of coding and documentationExperience with HEDIS and STARS measuresValid driver's license, access to reliable transportation and ability to travel within the assigned territoryPreferred Qualifications:Fluency in EMR systems & technologyExperience in providing Medicare yearly exams under a Global Risk/Medicare Advantage ModelCompensation for this specialty generally ranges from $109,500 - $164,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
