Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with an active AK license and 3+ years of OR experience for a circulating role requiring on-call coverage.

Operating Room setting handling a wide range of elective and emergency surgical cases, including abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic, orthopedic, vascular, and OB/GYN procedures.

Works 4x10-hour day shifts, Tuesday through Friday.

On-call coverage required on a 1/3 rotation, including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska required at time of submission.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN, ADN, or diploma).

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience required.

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Experience in Critical Access Hospital and/or rural Operating Rooms strongly preferred.

Responsible for multi-tasking efficiently to ensure surgical cases proceed on schedule throughout the day.

Utilizes after-hours call services to staff the Operating Room during nights, holidays, and weekends.

Agency is responsible for assisting travelers with housing and transportation arrangements.

Start date will be no sooner than 5 weeks after fingerprint cards are received and processed.
