Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Certification or license as a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)
• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
• Comfort working 1:1 with students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 sign language interpretation for students during the school day (8:25am–3:25pm, Monday–Friday)
• Facilitate communication between students, staff, and peers to ensure full access to educational content and participation
• Collaborate with educational teams to address student needs and enhance engagement
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions
