Staffmark is hiring Transportation Clerks for a leading logistics operation in Lancaster, TX. This role is ideal for candidates with customer service, transportation, logistics, dispatch, or warehouse office experience. The Transportation Clerk will serve as a key point of contact for drivers, vendors, visitors, and customers while supporting daily transportation operations.

Qualifications That Matter:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous customer service, logistics, transportation, dispatch, or clerical experience preferred
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn transportation management systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and professional demeanor
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties:

• Check in drivers and verify shipment information for accuracy
• Dispatch drivers and release loads through the Transportation Management System (TMS)
• Direct drivers to designated shipping and receiving locations
• Monitor transportation activities and provide status updates as needed
• Troubleshoot operational and system issues to support workflow efficiency
• Communicate with drivers, customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding transportation activities
• Maintain accurate transportation records and documentation
• Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned
• Provide professional customer service and support at all times
