Overview
The Wealth Management Technology Architecture team is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to serve as a key contributor in developing technology roadmaps that support US Wealth Management business and technology strategies. In this role you will partner with Technology and Business stakeholders to define target technology states for business capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and established architecture principles. You will lead a team of architects responsible for designing technical solution architectures for critical business initiatives and drive technology decisions that balance business needs with technical excellence and long-term sustainability.
Job Description
Develops and follows standards, processes, and best practices for solution architecture while leading solution architects in delivering high-quality architectural designs. Influences product roadmaps and advises on investment priorities to align technology with business strategy. Collaborates with global Wealth Management and enterprise teams to deliver reusable solutions that support global needs and drive operational efficiency. Establishes and enforces architecture governance and risk processes to ensure compliance, security, and technical excellence. Mentors solution architects to build capabilities and foster a culture of architectural excellence across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Establish standards, processes, and best practices in solution architecture to ensure high-quality deliverables across the organization
- Provide expert advice to solution architects and business partners on solution architectural designs, options, and strategic alignment
- Lead the solution architecture team in delivering business services and solutions that support product designs and business objectives
- Translate business requirements throughout the solution architecture process, delivering technical solutions in accordance with architecture standards and design specificationsInfluence product roadmaps and advise on investment priorities to align technology initiatives with business strategy
- Collaborate with global Wealth Management and enterprise teams to promote reusable solutions that support global needs and drive operational efficiency
- Establish and enforce architecture governance and risk processes to ensure compliance, security, and technical excellence
- Mentor and coach solution architects to build capabilities and foster a culture of architectural excellence
- Apply deep Wealth Management and Advisor experience to inform solution architecture decisions and drive business value
Must Have
- Experience in navigating complex matrixed environments
- Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers and drive clear outcomes
- Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
- Strong technical background
- Strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry (preference given to candidates with Wealth management experience)
- Ability to provide guidance, recommendation, and decisions in an agile environment
- Solid understanding of Wealth management business processes
Nice to Have
- Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities
- Good understanding of architecture practice frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)
- Good understanding of AIDLC
Salary & Benefits
The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $140,000 - $245,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
