The Retail Sales Associate is Open to Challenges: Big Problem, Big Smile – That’s how you handle things. You will be the expert and customers will look to you for answers.

1. Retail or customer service experience (industry experience at a UPS Store, FedEx Office, or print shop is a major plus).

4. Reliable professional conduct and a commitment to helping customers.

Essential Traits, Duties & Responsibilities:

Sales : Confidently explain various products and services. This includes upselling and cross selling products to the customer at hand.

Educate and Promote : Give customers advice and pointers on various ways to achieve their objectives through the store’s services.

Packaging Services : Estimate the packaging cost and pack fragile contents for shipping. Help customers select moving supplies.

Shipping Services : Receive & process packages for UPS, US Post Office including lifting & weighing packages on scale, accessing counter manifest shipping software, generating labels, providing receipts & tracking information to customers.

Document Services : Operate binding, laminating, fax, digital printers, computers and other machines in a safe & efficient. Help customers select business cards, stationery, imprinted products, etc.

Mailbox services : Explain mailbox service rates, benefits and the mailbox services agreement. Receive, log in, sort and place mail in mailbox modules accurately. Forward mail per customer instructions.

Opening/Closing Procedures : Be available 15 minutes before/after the scheduled business hours to open/close the store in accordance with store procedures.

Cleaning & Upkeep : Everyone on the team works on keeping the store clean that includes Vacuum, dust and wipe.

Pay Range and Incentives

• $16 - $18 per hour (starting pay based on experience).
• Monthly Sales Bonus: Eligible after 30 days of employment and completion of training.
• 9% Notary Commission: Earn extra on every notary seal.
• • The store covers all costs for your certification class and license fee.

Job Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 40+ lbs. regularly and stand for extended periods of time required.

Type 30+ WPM

English fluency required. Spanish desired.
Current notary public or ability to get Notary certification.
