Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Pampa, TX. Provide care to inpatients and outpatients at a 25-bed critical access hospital, supporting units that include ICU, med/surg, orthopedics, swing beds, and a cardiac cath lab. Treat patients with a range of acuity including trauma level IV and COVID patients while working with interdisciplinary teams to restore daily living and functional skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Texas Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification required.
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical Occupational Therapy experience, including inpatient and outpatient settings preferred.
- Experience treating patients across acute care settings, including ICU and med/surg, preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Membership or familiarity with AOTA and OTAC preferred.
- Experience working in critical access hospitals or rural healthcare settings preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 08:00–17:00.
- Shift schedule: Days.
- Patient population: Inpatients and outpatients.
- Facility acuity and units: ICU, med/surg, orthopedics, swing beds, cardiac cath lab; Level IV trauma.
- Weekend and holiday coverage: Per department needs.
- Dress code: Scrubs, no specific color required.
