  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate clients' trauma histories, enabling you to tailor effective treatment approaches.

  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on recovery and resilience-building, ensuring that clients receive personalized care aligned with their needs.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate clients' healing processes.

  • Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a supportive space for clients to process trauma, cultivate coping strategies, and foster healing.
  • \n
  • Closely collaborate with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary professionals to ensure a seamless and integrated care process for each client.

  • Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating your resourcefulness and proficiency in high-stress scenarios.

  • Educate clients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to foster understanding and resilience.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with all legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring both compliance and quality care.

  • Engage in regular professional development activities, staying current with advancements and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on survivors of trauma, including individuals affected by complex trauma and dissociative disorders. Many clients may be experiencing PTSD, bringing an array of challenges and emotional struggles. Your clinical expertise will not only aid in their recovery but also empower them on their journey toward resilience and self-acceptance.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

  • Valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient interactions.

  • A proven ability to manage high-pressure situations calmly and effectively.
  • \n
  • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

  • Collaborative mindset to work cohesively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions. Familiarity with various resilience-building approaches will be beneficial to enhance the support provided to clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
