Psychologist - Dyslexia Clinic

The Division of Pediatric Psychology at Akron Children's Hospital (ACH) is recruiting a pediatric/child clinical psychologist to join our assessment team. Responsibilities Consultation and evaluation of Dyslexia and comorbid conditions will be the primary role of the provider. The psychologist will work within a multidisciplinary team that includes Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and Speech/Language Therapy, providing assessment services for dyslexia and related learning challenges. Additional opportunities include expanding focus to other clinical areas such as Autism, Anxiety/OCD, and Tic/Tourette's Clinics, and engaging in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research with protected time and collaboration with the Research Institute. Qualifications Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical, counseling, or educational psychology from an APA‑accredited doctoral program. Completion of an APA‑accredited internship (child or pediatric emphasis preferred). License eligibility in the State of Ohio. Strong interest in the practice of evidence‑based pediatric psychology.
