Yard Forklift Operator Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$19.00 / hour
Full Time work available
Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )

Reports to the Yard Manager
Prepare and load trucks picking up material in yard.
Unload transports and place inventory in correct areas of the yard
Must be able to accurately count for inventory
Operate an all-terrain forklift in yard efficiently and safely to load trucks going out to job.
Note: will not be on forklift all the time. Some days will be all inventory of materials.
Use hand tools (band saws, hammers, jack hammer, screw drivers, wrenches, and drills), when not in the yard.
Keep yard clean and organized-Will salt sidewalks in winter, water plants in summer

Yard Forklift Operator Qualifications:

Ability to stand, bend, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs for continuous periods during 8-10-hour shifts.
Ability to operate an all-terrain forklift
Able to work in all weather conditions
Able to do accurate counts on materials
Construction experience a plus

Applicant may be subject to a background check
