Respiratory Therapist At Apria, a part of Accendra Health, you will practice respiratory therapy in a hybrid setting that combines clinical autonomy, meaningful patient interaction, and collaborative teamwork. The role involves both time in the branch and time in the field, allowing you to develop patient‑facing clinical skills while maintaining strong workflow independence. Key highlights Working Hours: Part‑time (3 days per week) 8:30 AM–5:00 PM; flexibility if needed. Overtime as required. Check in at the branch daily; flexibility based on patient needs and hospital discharges. Hybrid‑style role: ~70% in the branch, ~30% in the field. Salary range $31.50–$39.00 per hour. Compensation varies by experience, skills, education, and location. On‑Call transparency Rotation is area‑based, not branch‑based. Coverage area includes Ogden, Woods Cross, and up to Logan, Utah. Rotation frequency: once every other week, Monday–Friday. Weekend call‑outs are rare and generally involve telehealth support. Mileage and time start from home during on‑call rotation. Personal vehicle required (mileage reimbursed). What You’ll Do Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow‑ups. Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalated concerns appropriately. Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams. Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop. Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non‑invasive ventilation. Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper operating condition. Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO₂, spirometry, and gathering vital signs. Perform other duties as required. What We Look For Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active Utah RT license. Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10–50 lbs. Valid driver’s license. Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation. Education Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license for respiratory therapy.
