Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Expert Job Type: Contractor Location: Remote – United States Job Overview We are seeking experienced Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Experts to support an AI-focused project. You will create, review, and evaluate federal and military-style reports while applying established documentation, reporting, and compliance standards. No prior AI experience is required. Key Responsibilities Create and review WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries, and briefings . Develop clear, accurate content following federal and military reporting standards. Evaluate sample reports using grading criteria and quality standards. Develop reference responses, guidelines, and evaluation rubrics. Provide expert feedback on reporting structure, clarity, accuracy, and compliance. Collaborate remotely with project teams to improve deliverables. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in federal reporting or staff writing, preferably within the Department of Defense. Experience with military or federal reporting formats and documentation standards. Background with one or more branches of the US military preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of federal compliance and reporting practices. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint .
