MRI Technologist

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients using advanced MRI equipment. Key Responsibilities: Perform MRI scans and ensure high-quality diagnostic images. Screen, position, and educate patients regarding MRI procedures. Administer IV contrast, including gadolinium, within scope of practice. Select appropriate imaging sequences, coils, and techniques. Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. Inspect images for quality and make necessary adjustments. Operate, test, calibrate, and troubleshoot MRI equipment. Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation. Follow all MRI safety protocols and established clinical procedures. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Requirements: Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program or A.A.S. degree. Active New Jersey General Radiography License. ARRT certification. BLS certification.
