Experienced Class A CDL Delivery Driver - WILKES-BARRE yard

Professional DriverC&S Wholesale Grocers desires to create the most safe, efficient, and service forward fleet in the country. As a Professional Driver with C&S Wholesale Grocers, you will start your driving career with the company by working with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) who will provide coaching and insight on the C&S Way which includes company and regulatory requirements. Once you have successfully completed our new hire training program, you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through deliveries of product and services while performing all other assigned duties. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.Pay Rate: $30/hr (OT after 40) (ave over $2000/week!)$5000 Safety sign on- paid out in 180 daysEmployee referral as well!Medical after 90Paid every WednesdayShoe reimbursementStart times @ midnight to 1 am, Monday-Saturday operation, work 5 of those days; off one additional day, including SundayDescriptionUtilizing the specialized skills developed with experience and the C&S Professional Driver Training Program, you will operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc…), applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations, to transport and safely deliver productDriver will load and unload (ambient or temperature sensitive) product to customers on an average of 3-10 stops per dayDriver will inspect, document and ensure equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirementsInspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirementsAll other duties as assignedTravel Required: YesEnvironmentStore : Freezer (-20F to 0F)Warehouse : Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)SkillsSpecialized Knowledge : DOT Certified, Class A Commercial Driver's LicenseSpecial Skills : Must be at least 21 years oldPhysical abilities: Valid Department Of Transportation Physical Exam.Other: Must be DOT certified with all qualification requirementsEnjoy working with people.
