Overview Shift’s Available : Days Employment Type : Full-time Hours: 8 -hour shift Location : Riverview Regional Medical Center – Gadsden, AL We are seeking a Food Service Worker , sometimes referred to as a Café Work er or Food Service Associate . The Food Service Worker will work in our hospital cafeteria, responsible for preparing, serving, and delivering meals, ensuring food safety and cleanliness, and adhering to dietary guidelines. They support patient nutrition, healthcare hospitality, serve staff and visitors, maintain kitchen equipment and inventory, and contribute to overall food service operations in our hospital. If you have experience as dietary aide (Food Service Associate) w ith f ood service in a healthcare setting / healthcare hospitality you are encouraged to apply! Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): P repare and serve food to our patients, staff, and visitors E nsure food safety by following hygiene and sanitation guidelines O perate kitchen equipment like ovens, slicers, or dishwashers S tock supplies and maintain inventory C lean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment T ake and fulfill meal orders according to dietary guidelines for patients H andle cash or operate a register for cafeteria transactions Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
