Admissions Representative/Registrar - Per Diem

Job Title

Interviews patients, guarantor or family member to obtain the necessary information required to register the patient presenting to the Hospital for treatment. Collects patient financial responsibility at time of service.

Job Description

Responsibilities include reading and interpreting documents, writing routine reports, effective communication, and applying mathematical concepts. Minimum of two years' experience in a hospital or related medical field is preferred. Knowledge of office procedures, medical terminology, insurance requirements, and collection practices is required. Must be responsible for all emergency and outpatient registrations, obtaining information needed, and communicating information to various parties.

Qualifications

General education level required. CPI is required within 30 days of hire.
