About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Labor and Delivery, with at least 1 year of recent experience License: Valid RN license Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Ability to circulate C-sections Postpartum experience Willingness to work every other weekend Ability to float to other facilities Description: Required certifications include ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP. Administration of blood and blood products, amnioinfusion, and anticoagulation therapy skills are necessary. Experience with labor and delivery, including assisting with high-risk delivery and vaginal delivery, is expected. Knowledge of neonatal resuscitation, newborn assessment, and managing postpartum hemorrhage is essential. Candidates should be proficient in using electronic fetal monitoring and performing sterile vaginal exams. Experience in a teaching hospital setting is required. Candidates should provide references from their most recent employer at the time of submission. Travel experience is required. Availability to float as needed is essential.
