CNC Production Technician

Responsibilities Configure and operate specialized equipment, including CNC systems, die-cutting presses, and laminators, to meet daily production targets. Monitor machine performance and run speeds to optimize output while maintaining strict adherence to quality specifications. Proactively troubleshoot mechanical issues and material inconsistencies to minimize downtime and ensure continuous workflow. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage job changeovers, report material defects, and streamline production processes. Maintain accurate digital records of production activity and material consumption within our ERP system. Uphold a safe, clean, and organized work environment by actively participating in safety training and facility maintenance. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent with prior experience in a manufacturing machine operation role. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Proficiency in basic mathematics and computer systems, including experience with ERP software. Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to stand for extended periods while lifting up to 50 lbs. Strong communication skills with the ability to read and follow complex operating procedures. Preferred Skills Prior hands-on experience with CNC setup, waterjet cutting, or precision measurement tools like calipers and micrometers. Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards or similar regulated manufacturing environments. Previous experience working with Epicor or similar enterprise resource planning platforms.
