Material Handler

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Summary:

Location: Sherman, TX
Shift: 1st Shift, 6AM to 2:30PM

Responsibilities:

Pack orders in Parcel, Pack Center, and Flex Center Pack out Stations utilizing the Flagship system.
Utilize packing slips to generate and print move tickets.
Break down material, sort styles, verify counts, and restock appropriate warehouse locations.
Use RF scanners to scan material, styles, location and re-verify counts.
Verify styles and quantities of materials picked.
Visually inspect products, scan, and place them in shipping cartons.
Place packing material in shipping cartons to minimize potential product damage during shipping.
Place packing lists, content labels, and shipping labels as needed.
Resolve discrepancies and research all possible solutions to ensure order accuracy.
Maintain quality workmanship and observe safety procedures.
Report unsafe acts and perform work of equal or lower classification if necessary.
Continuously stand, bend, reach, lift, push, and pull.

Requirements:

Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, TX will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Skills:

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum one year of experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment.
Minimum 6 months experience with Forklift, Cherry picker, or Reach Truck.
Flexibility to work specific hours and overtime based on customer demand.
Previous forklift and/or order picker operation experience.
