Industrial Electrician

Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join an enterprise Steel manufacturing team in Seattle, Washington. This person will report to the Electrical Lead and the Electrical Supervisor in either the melt shop or rolling mill. They must be committed to their own personal safety and the safety of others. They are required to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems individually and as part of a team with other maintenance personnel. This person should be able to function well in a high production environment applying a craftsman expertise and acumen. Coachable personality and team player! Willingness to learn and eager to join a motivated team. A “tinkerer” – someone who likes projects and problem solving. Working Knowledge of: Knowledge and experience with Loop devices, Instrumentation, and motor controls Knows how to use different multimeters to perform motor testing and troubleshooting. Prior Mill experience relevant to the role Experience with DC motors, robots, PLC's. Works well individually as well as on a team Experience or willingness to operate in shifts.
