Job Summary
The CT Technologist position in Washington is a full-time role working in an acute care setting. The role involves performing general computed tomography (CT) studies utilizing GE imaging equipment within a department that handles inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients aged 15 and up. The scheduled shift is Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with no weekend rotation required.

Job Details

• Shift: Tuesdays through Fridays, from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) certification, Washington state license, minimum of 2 years of experience, and GE experience. Valid license must be active at time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: CT certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience or Skills: At least 2 years of experience in CT imaging. Ability to operate GE scanners is required.
• Procedure Volume: Approximately 50-60 scans or studies per day.
• EMR / PACS: EPIC electronic medical record system and McKesson PACS.
• Department Equipment: GE imaging systems.
• Department Notes: The department has 2 scanners. The radiology team includes a supervisor or lead tech Monday through Friday, with after-hours coverage by an X-ray and a CT technologist. A radiologist is in-house 24/7 with off-site coverage after hours and weekends.
• Additional Responsibilities: Starting IVs is preferred.
• Orientation: One week of department-specific orientation.
• Dress Code: Scrubs are provided; professional colored scrubs are expected.
• Additional Notes: The candidate should be a team player and capable of working independently.
