Job Summary Seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to work at a leading Children's Hospital. Key Responsibilities Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists. Operate and maintain linear accelerators and other treatment equipment. Perform quality assurance checks and ensure equipment is functioning properly. Accurately document patient treatments and progress. Educate patients and families about treatment procedures and potential side effects. Collaborate with the oncology team to develop and implement treatment plans. Schedule / Shift Weekends: No On-call: No Block Schedules: No Hours Approved: 48 hours not approved. Required Qualifications Valid Texas (TX) state license as a Radiation Therapist. Experience as a Radiation Therapist. Experience 20 patients: 1 RT Certifications Registered Radiation Therapist (RTT) certification is generally expected. Skills Proficient in operating radiation therapy equipment. Strong understanding of radiation physics and safety protocols. Excellent patient care and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Unit / Specialty Radiation Therapy Patient Population Pediatric patients. Floating / On-Call Floating between units: No #J-18808-Ljbffr
