This name is more than a nod to the gypsy spiritit's a celebration of culinary wanderlust, where each dish tells a tale of tradition and innovation. Just as the Zingaro roams freely, our restaurant invites you to embark on a sensory journey that captures the essence of Italy's diverse regions. Come for the vibe, stay for the food!

Duties:

• Provide quality, and genuine, hospitality in a timely manner
• Greeting parties as they arrive with a welcoming and accommodating attitude
• Make, adjust, and cancel guest reservations.
• Distribute menus to guest as they are seated
• Manage seating and reservations to ensure guests get the best experience
• Answering calls before open hours and during shifts to handle guest reservations and inquiries.
• Ensure the restaurant is pristinely set in preparation for guests to arrive.
• Answer customer questions regarding food, drinks, and specials
• Inspire and educate the front of house staff.
• Be the first line of communication at the front to handle customer complaints or disputes.
• Manage floorplan to ensure efficient and excellent service throughout a given seating.
• Acknowledge guests when they arrive and leave
• Communicating effectively with both guests and team-members
• Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Passion for food and ensuring an excellent dining experience for all guests
• Energetic and genuine positive attitude while interacting with team-members and guests
• 3+ years experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• A desire to succeed in a progressive, exciting, and fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to follow directions
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized during busy service times
• Highly service trained effortlessly able show others how to serve in an unpretentious, yet high quality food & beverage environment.
• Ability to pay attention to details
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 10+ pounds repetitively
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
