Industrial HVAC Duct Installer (Kitchen Exhaust Systems) Location: Woodstock, GA (Field-Based – Metro Atlanta) Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview Hoods Unlimited is seeking an experienced Industrial HVAC Duct Installer to support our growing kitchen exhaust installation division. This role is focused on field installation of ductwork and exhaust systems. We are specifically looking for someone with industrial HVAC experience who is comfortable running duct, working with large-scale systems, and operating efficiently on active job sites. You will work directly alongside our Project Manager to help increase installation speed, improve job quality, and reduce project timelines. Key Responsibilities Install commercial kitchen exhaust systems with an emphasis on industrial-level ductwork practices Run and install ductwork including layout, routing, hanging, and securing Assist with full system installs including hoods, duct runs, and exhaust fans Read and interpret mechanical drawings, plans, and job specifications Execute proper duct supports, clearances, and routing in the field Assist with roof work including exhaust fan installation and penetrations Work alongside leadership to complete projects efficiently and on schedule Troubleshoot and solve field issues (fitment, routing conflicts, etc.) Maintain tools, equipment, and job site organization Qualifications (What We Actually Need) 2+ years of industrial HVAC installation experience (REQUIRED) Proven experience running ductwork in the field (not just shop work) Experience with large-scale duct systems and fast-paced installs Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and layouts Strong work ethic with a focus on speed, efficiency, and quality Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Preferred (Bonus, Not Required) Experience with kitchen exhaust systems (hoods, grease duct, fans) Welding or fabrication experience Familiarity with NFPA 96 or similar codes Experience working on rooftops and with mounted equipment What Success Looks Like in This Role Can run duct independently with minimal supervision Helps significantly speed up installation timelines Brings industrial-level efficiency and execution to the team Works well with leadership and communicates clearly on site Takes ownership of job quality and problem-solving Compensation & Benefits Competitive base pay + performance-based bonuses Company vehicle and fuel card (for qualified candidates) Company uniforms and tools provided Paid time off Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding division Benefits Bonus based on performance Company car Competitive salary Employee discounts Flexible schedule Free food & snacks Paid time off Training & development #J-18808-Ljbffr Hoods Unlimited
