Ideal experience and desired qualifications include:

• Proven background as a paraprofessional or support staff in an educational (high school preferred) environment
• Ability to motivate, encourage, and facilitate student learning and engagement
• Demonstrated skills in building trust and rapport with students and colleagues
• Flexibility to adapt in dynamic classroom settings or 1:1 student support roles
• Collaborative approach and effective communication skills
• Professionalism, patience, and a positive, student-centered mindset

Main responsibilities:

• Support student learning by implementing instructional activities and modifications as needed
• Assist teachers in classroom or for individual students in daily routines and academic tasks
• Help monitor behavior and provide motivation, intervention, and emotional support
• Document student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff
• Foster an inclusive, respectful environment that promotes growth
